Shakira, I'm a fairly new fan and am fascinated by your belly dancing. I studied hula when I was younger, and I wonder how similar you think they are. Some of the main physical points of dancing hula is to keep your shoulders very stationary, bend your knees and move your hips. I would love to hear your comments on the similarities and differences. Thanks for all your work with the barefoot foundation and supporting the integration of all cultures and peoples.

1981 Una niña en mi colegio se parecía mucho a ti.
1996-2001 Escuché tu música sólo por medio de las radios desde más o menos el año 1996 y ese era mi único conocimiento de ti y tu carrera hasta el momento: canciones en la radio, era tu época de pelo negro y mi época de adolescente rockero.
2001-2006 Seguidamente lo que para mi solo era una bonita voz, tuvo rostro cuando allá por el año 2000 o 2001 cayó en mis manos el cd "laundry Service" y vi una foto de ti ( y a ahí me entere p.ej. que eras colombiana y que tenias novio recién :( ). No tuve la oportunidad de seguir tu TOTM, yo estaba lo que se dice "dormido" o embebido pendiente solo de los estudios entre el 2001-2006 que finalice ese año y nadie me desperto antes de ese año. Era mi época de universitario y tu época de TOTM.
2006-2010 Pero fue la 3º fase de acercamiento de OF1 y OF2 cuando me enteré que visitarías mi isla, en 2006, ahi desperte. Y yo me entere tarde de ese concierto, pues cuando supe que ibas a actuar en mi ciudad me encontraba de vacaciones en Barcelona. Me entristeció no haber podido ir, pero me saque la espina en Granada ;-) Aquel día lloré contigo cuando cantaste antología... Y desde finales de 2006 hasta hoy no he parado de pensar en ti día y noche y apoyándote. Me fascina tu espíritu solidario y tu forma de ser. He tenido la oportunidad de escuchar la mayoría de tu discografía y sobre todo conocer un poco tu carácter y me gustas. ¡Hubiera preferido que fuera en persona y no a distancia! y repito,
2010-2014-…..- Me gustaría que me conocieses en persona, salir contigo, ser tu pareja, estar cerca de ti cuando lo necesites, amarte cada día, apoyarte en todo y me gustaría ser el padre de tus hijos ¿ES POSIBLE?
